The Hot List
Allegiant was released on October 22, 2013. It is the final installment in the Divergent Trilogy. The library currently has the first 2 novels int he series, Divergent and Insurgent. We currently have 1 copy in the library.
Champion by Marie Lu is the final installment in the Legend Trilogy. This novel was released November 5, 2013. We currently have 1 copy of Legend in the library. I am working to get copies of the other 2 books in this series.
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card is part of a series of books. The movie version of the book came out in theaters November 1, 2013! Read the book, see the movie then compare and contrast the two. We do not currently have this book in the library, but I am working on it.
Hard Luck is the 8th installment of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series by Jeff Kinney. It was released in stores November 5, 2013. We currently have 1 copy in the library.
Risked by Margaret Peterson Haddix is the sixth installment in the Missing Series. This book was just released in September of this year. We do not have it currently, but I am working on it. Check out the first five books in the Missing Series from the library...Found, Sent, Sabotaged, Torn, and Caught.
Become a Library Superhero! Join our volunteer team!
Volunteers will be needed to help with a variety of library functions, such as sorting/shelving books, helping younger students find books that suit their needs, book processing, book fairs, etc. There are daily, weekly or monthly opportunities available to fit any schedule. I would like to encourage anyone who loves books and wants to be a part of the 2015-2016 Library Volunteer Team to please visit me in the library or contact me at bvera@harmonytx.org. After school opportunities are available for students who would like to volunteer. Please see Ms. Vera if you have any questions!
